
Kristen is an associate in the Intellectual Property Practice at Hodgson Russ. She concentrates her practice on trademark and copyright law, advising clients on the development, management, and protection of domestic and international intellectual property portfolios. Kristen counsels clients on mark selection, filing strategies, and responses to office actions, as well as enforcement efforts, including opposition and cancellation proceedings, demand letters, and settlement negotiations.
With considerable experience managing global trademark portfolios, Kristen advises clients across a wide range of industries, including alcoholic beverages, professional sports, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, financial services, data solutions, hospitality, entertainment, legal services, broadcasting, and consumer goods such as apparel, cosmetics, and accessories. She regularly collaborates with local counsel in jurisdictions around the world to coordinate prosecution and enforcement strategies, balancing legal considerations with business objectives.
Prior to joining Hodgson Russ, Kristen practiced at an Am Law 200 firm based in New Jersey, where she oversaw trademark portfolios comprising thousands of marks in more than 75 countries.
