Maheen Akter is a Law Clerk in the Trusts & Estates Practice at Hodgson Russ, where she assists attorneys in crafting sophisticated legal strategies tailored to the distinct needs of individuals, families, and fiduciaries. She focuses on preparing estate planning documents, assisting with probate and trust administration, and conducting in-depth research on complex topics such as multigenerational wealth transfers, charitable giving, and cross-border estate considerations.
Prior to joining Hodgson Russ, Maheen participated in the firm’s Summer Associate Program. She also gained substantive experience through an externship with a workers’ compensation clinic in Ontario, as well as internships with two nonprofit organizations.
