Patrick is a Law Clerk in the Real Estate and Finance Practice at Hodgson Russ, where he primarily supports attorneys in delivering legal services to public issuers and authorities across New York State. He assists with the structuring, documentation, and compliance aspects of tax-exempt bond and note financings for infrastructure and public improvement projects.
Patrick helps facilitate transactions for industrial development agencies, local development corporations, and other governmental entities. He assists in preparing legal documents, conducting research, and coordinating with stakeholders in straight lease and tax-exempt bond transactions.
Prior to joining Hodgson Russ, Patrick participated in the firm’s Summer Associate Program. Before attending law school, he served as a Commercial Relationship Manager at M&T Bank, where he oversaw a portfolio of healthcare, higher education, and nonprofit clients in Upstate New York and New England. He played a key role in structuring, negotiating, and executing several sizable loan originations, some of which were tax-exempt.
