On June 21, 2020, the New York State Education Department, Office of Special Education issued further guidance concerning the provision of special education instruction and services during the COVID-19 pandemic. Join our special education attorneys in a discussion regarding this guidance. We’ll discuss the legal and practical implications, including:

  • The provision of in-person special education services over the summer of 2020
  • The factors that Committees on Special Education must consider when recommending IEPs for the 2020-2021 school year
