Former DHHS Attorney Joins Hodgson Russ LLP Healthcare, Business Litigation Practices

Hodgson Russ LLP is pleased to announce that Jennifer L. Gonzalez has joined as an attorney in the firm’s Healthcare and Business Litigation Practices. With more than a decade of service in the U.S. government and its executive branch agencies, she brings clients a rare perspective shaped by deep institutional insight and firsthand experience navigating the inner workings of federal regulatory systems.

Prior to joining Hodgson Russ, Jennifer served in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), working on critical areas such as:

• Medicare compliance
• Medicare Secondary Payer Act
• Federal Tort Claims Act
• Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) privacy regulations

Through her time working with the federal government, Jennifer developed the ability to effectively navigate the complexities of federal healthcare law. Today, she uses that knowledge to guide healthcare providers through the intricate landscape of healthcare laws and regulations, enabling them to focus on patient care. Jennifer offers clients sophisticated legal advice across complex regulatory, reimbursement, transactional, litigation, and compliance issues.
