Danijel Augustinovic

Danijel Augustinovic is a partner in the Banking & Finance Practice at Hodgson Russ LLP, where he represents domestic and international banks, financial sponsors, corporations, and foreign financial institutions in a wide range of lending and restructuring transactions. He provides practical, business-focused counsel tailored to the strategic goals of each client.

Danijel has a robust foundation in advising on corporate and commercial finance, including syndicated lending, acquisition finance, asset-based lending, subordinated/second lien structures, receivables financing, project finance, and complex cross-border transactions. His practice covers both secured and unsecured facilities as well as debt restructurings.

Danijel brings a unique cross-border perspective, regularly helping Canadian lenders and borrowers navigate U.S. legal requirements and assisting U.S. clients with transactions that extend into Canada. His background enables him to anticipate cross-jurisdictional issues and deliver seamless solutions for clients engaged in North American financing transactions.

Prior to joining Hodgson Russ, Danijel practiced at one of Canada’s leading law firms and one of the leading international law firms. He is admitted to practice in Ontario.
