Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM) 2011 Annual Meeting 

Hodgson Russ attorneys Jodyann Galvin and John D. Lopinski were speakers at the 2011 annual meeting of the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM) in Las Vegas. Hodgson Russ was a sponsor of the conference.

Jody was a speaker and John served as moderator of the CLE session “Joint Inventor or Not: Equitable Entitlement as a Measure to Protect Ownership in Patent Rights,” which addressed a number of legal challenges faced by universities when faculty members collaborate with colleagues either inside or outside their institutions on an invention. Jody, John, and co-presenter William Hopewell from Cornell University focused on joint inventorship and provided practical steps universities can take to protect themselves, their faculty members, and intellectual property rights.
